General Information
Venture from the concrete jungle of Kota Kinabalu and explore the wild side of Sabah at Beaufort district along the Klias Forest Reserve. Board a river cruise in search of rare and exceptional wildlife. Spot the long-nosed Proboscis monkey in the trees, feeding on young leaves, shoots, sour fruits, and seeds. You will have the opportunity to observe many types of wildlife, including the Macaque monkey, rare Silver Langur, and a variety of tropical birds.
ITINERARY
You will be meet by 1400 hours at your hotel and thereafter you be transfer to Klias, an estimate 2 hours overland journey, for an experience of watching the Proboscis monkey along the mangrove river. In nature, Borneo is the only known place where these creatures inhabit. Arriving at the Jetty, you be serve with some refreshment before your boat cruise which start at 1630 hours. A return boat trip of 1½ hours searching for these rare species might giving you the opportunity of seeing other wildlife such as the Silver Langgur Monkey leaf, Eustarian Crocodile, Monitor Lizard, etc. On your way back to the jetty, we will search for fireflies (if weather permits) displaying their spectacular synchronized lightings occupying a whole grown tree. A typical Malaysian food will be served during dinner and thereafter we depart back for Kota Kinabalu.

Day 2, Mari mari culture village.
The Mari Mari Cultural Village is situated amidst a remote forest setting in Kionsom, Inanam; 25 minutes away from the hustling and bustling city. Your friendly excursion guide will also give thorough introductions to the houses, making it a highly educational experience. For a more hands-on experience, check out the little huts in the village where daily routines of traditional Sabahan life come alive. Grab the chance to see blowpipe-making demonstration, fire-starting demonstration using bamboo, tattoo-making demonstration, and get an in-depth look at the mystical symbolisms behind them. Visitors will also get chance to sample Sabahan traditional delicacies from each ethnic group. After lunch, you be transfer back to Kota Kinabalu for your last shopping spree before your transfer to the airport or hotel.
