Borneo Eco Tour Holidays, You be meet upon your arrival at the airport and transfer to your choice of hotel at the city center. You will be assist for registration thereafter your guide will brief you for the 10 days tour excursion. Your choice of activities until 1845 hours for your dinner transfer at Kampung Nelayan. Day 2 ~ Usukan Cove kota belud/ Snorkelling / Diving
From Kota Kinabalu Sabah, the journey to Usukan Cove takes approximately one-and-half hours. Throughout the journey, you will be delighted by the wonderful sights and sceneries of the idyllic Kota Belud countryside—passing endless plains of paddy fields, undulating hills, and rustic wooden village houses. Moreover, picturesque will view of the majestic Mount Kinabalu in the background. For adventure seekers, opt for a leisure dive or go snorkeling to check out the plenteous natural attractions which include gorgeous coral reefs and diverse marine life. Day 3 ~ Kiulu Water Rafting Tamparuli / Kundasang
At morning, take your breakfast. Then, we travel overland to Kiulu for your white water rafting. Kiulu River is classified as Class I – II river. This is more of a beginner’s river suitable for beginners aged 5 years old to 65 years old that craves mild adventure whilst safely enjoy the rafting trip. Kiulu River Rafting is an experience not to be missed and best of all, it’s not as daunting as it sounds – even novices can safely take part! Greeted by water buffalo’s at the river bank.
After that, the excursion begins with a safety briefing session conducted by our professional raft guide that will demonstrates rafting techniques and proper handling of rafting equipment before rafting commences. Excursion covers up to 15 km, making it the longest white water rafting trip in Borneo. The journey will take about 1 ½ – 2 hours of rafting before reaching the ending point where delicious picnic lunch prepared just by the riverbank. We continue our journey to Kundasang for your choice of hotel located at the foothill of mount Kinabalu. Mount Kinabalu is a prominent mountain in Southeast Asia. The mountain and its surroundings are among the most important biological sites in the world, with over 600 species of ferns, 326 species of birds, and 100 mammalian species identified. Upon arrival at your hotel, you will be assist for registration and thereafter free activities on own arrangement.

Visit the Botanical Garden to see orchids, rhododendrons, ferns, pitcher-plants, kerosene trees and others. At 1100 hours, you will be guided by a park ranger and they will make an introduction of flora & fauna which part of these species are only found at Borneo. After that, take a jungle walk near the Park HQ (approximately 1 hour 30 minutes) and learn more about the Mountain Forest.
After finishing your trek, we proceed for your lunch at a local restaurant. Poring which means bamboo in local dialect, are located 42 km from the park headquarters. Trek through a hill dipterocarp forest rich in wild fruit trees and animal life, passing giant bamboos and ginger plants with edible flowers to reach a jungle-canopy walkway 40 m above ground Then relax in open air outdoor tubs filled with hot or cold running mineral waters. An option of visiting the Butterfly farm and short jungle trail are available for those who want to venture more. By 1630 hours, you be transfer back to your hotel at Kundasang.

Day 5 ~ Sandakan City Tour.
We depart for Sepilok by 0800 hours, the overland journey will take approximately 6 hours passing through local villages and palm oil estate. Stopping at certain places for toilet stop and refreshment, observe the local people daily life chores, we might learn from them. We will first visit the World War 2 Memorial Park infamous for the Sandakan Death March. The Marches were a series of forced marches from Sandakan to Ranau which resulted in the deaths of more than 3,600 Indonesian civilian slave labors and 2,400 Allied prisoners of war held captive by the Empire of Japan during the Pacific campaign of World War II at prison camps.
For an unrivalled panoramic view of Sandakan bay and a look at its newest temple, a visit should be made to the extravagantly ornate Puu Jih Shih Buddhist Temple, on the hill-top above Tanah Merah south of Sandakan town centre. You be met and transfer to Sepilok Orang Utan Rehabilitation Centre for the 1000 hours feeding. The call from the park ranger may also attract other inhabitant’s such as the macaque’s, the visitors are prohibited from getting in contact with any of these ape’s. The Sepilok Orang-utan Rehabilitation Center goes back to a project proposed in 1961 by P F Burgess, then the Deputy Conservator of Forests in North Borneo. By 1100 hours, a video show about the nursery will start which take about 20 minutes.
After finish enjoying the video, then you will be transfer to nearby restaurant for your lunch. The overland journey to Bilit, Kinabatangan, will take about 1 hour 45 minutes passing through local villages and palm oil estate. Arriving at the jetty, you be transfer by local boat to your lodge which is merely 3 minutes boat ride. Leisure till your afternoon boat cruise at 1600 hours in search of the wildlife that had occupied the area decade’s before human. The return cruise will take about 1 hour 30 minutes where dinner in local traditional cuisine is served at the lodge restaurant. You may have the option to take a night jungle walk together with the locals to avoid being astray or simply relax at the restaurant enjoying the nature sound of night life.

Day 7 ~ Tabin Wildlife Center Lahad Dato.
Firstly, we travel overland to the district of Lahad Datu for Tabin Wildlife Reserve. The journey takes about 4 hours along path road and gravel road. Secondly, after arriving you will check into an attractive timber lodge at Tabin Wildlife Resort, nestled within the rain forest beside the Lipad river. This lovely setting is home to a surprising variety of birds, insects and small mammals, even right beside the buildings of the resort.
Next, in the afternoon, visit the Lipad mud volcano which provides a mineral salt lick for wildlife. The treking through the rain forest is only take for 20 minutes. After that, arrive at the elevated bare area of the mud volcano that frequented by wildlife and birds. Here, you can try to identify the multitude of animal footprints here. Climb the observation tower and admire the contrasting landscape of the bare mud volcano and its surrounding thick forest, where birds are commonly sighted. Lastly, take your dinner and enjoy a slide presentation on Tabin’s natural wonders, followed by a trip to look out for nocturnal wildlife and birds. Overnight within nature surrounding.

Day 8 ~ Tabin To Semporna.
Firstly, morning call by the sounds of wildlife, you may opt to join the early morning bird walk to discover some of Tabin’s rich collection of almost 300 bird species. Then, take a breakfast. After that, trek through the lush green rain forest. It’s known for its rich diversity of plants and animal species to visit Lipad Waterfall. Besides, take a dip in the natural pool and enjoy a natural and refreshing shower under the waterfall. After that, take a lunch. Then, we depart by land to Semporna, an approximately 4 hour’s journey. Semporna means place of rest given after the British quelled resistance from the local Bajau in the mid-1880’s. Upon arrival, you be register at your prefer choice of hotel. Rest of the day free on own arrangement.

You be meet at your hotel lobby and transfer to the jetty for your snorkelling at Sipadan & Mabul. Sipadan is the only oceanic island in Malaysia, rising 600 meters (2,000 ft) from the seabed. Sipadan is located at the heart of the Indo Pacific basin, the center of one of the richest marine habitats in the world. More than 3,000 species of fish and hundreds of coral species have been classified in this ecosystem. Moreover, many dive journals rated Sipadan as one of the top dive destinations in the world.
Lunch will be serve at the beach side, thereafter second snorkeling location at Mabul island. The island shaped a small oval. The island surrounded by sandy beaches and perched on the northwest corner of a larger two square kilometer reef. Mabul is arguably one of the richest single destinations for exotic small marine life anywhere in the world. Mabul Island is the last island still on the Borneo shelf before the ocean floor drops to some 800 m. It named in many diving magazines for its popularity among macro photographers who look for the really rare creatures. Mabul Island just 20 minutes north of Sipadan Island. Next activity by afternoon return back to the mainland, by boat you will be transfer back to your hotel. At the end of the day free on own arrangement.

Day 10 ~ Tawau Airport
